My Story

Jordan Marrero Tattoos

My name is Jordan Marrero
I came into this world March 11th 1997. I was born in Orlando Florida, I lived there until I was 13 years old. I loved it there, it’s all I knew. The fast city life with lots of traffic.
My Mother and father split when I was 8 years old. I saw him as much as I could. My mom was working 2 to 3 jobs to support me and my older brother Nick. Life wasn’t easy but I tell you what, we never went hungry. My Mother busted her butt to raise us not so easy kids.

We moved to a different part of town called Meadow Woods which wasn’t the greatest. I then met my neighbor EJ and we clicked right away. We started doing graffiti on busses, fences, walls, houses. We had the best time, that’s where my true love for art really showed.
Since a very young age I’ve always loved art. Watching my dad draw blueprints for his business and building ships in a bottle from old times when he lived in Cuba. I was very interested in crating.

ORIGINS

INSPIRATION

I was 13 years old when my mom packed me and my brother up and told us a new beginning is coming and we will be living a better life in Cape Coral. Moving there I had no one I knew, so all I did was draw and played the drums; I had nothing better to do. I met a lot of kids in school and they loved my drawing skills. I always heard you should be a tattoo artist. I never thought anything of it.
In 2016 my senior year of high school everything changed when I bought a motorcycle cycle… 04/28/2016 I was involved in a motorcycle accident where I dislocated both my knees and hurt my back. I healed and I started working D.O.C. where I was a Correctional officer. Around the same time things got tough with my living situation; I had a friend that started tattooing and I knew that tattoo artists made good money! I was inspired, I told myself “lets see what I can do!”. I called every shop in the county and no one wanted an apprentice. I was patient and I followed Bloodlinezink on Instagram, I messaged Juan Vidaurri the owner of Bloodlinezink asking him if he could teach me how to tattoo and it was as easy as that. The next day I went in and was immediately put on fake skin go see what kind of lines I can pull and shading I can do. I was told that early on that focus on your craft and art and the money will come, I always kept that mindset! From then and now, my tattooing career started September 9th 2016 and my life changed forever….
